Now Apply This to Education . . .
CEO America President Fritz S. Steiger did a double-take when he read a recent news release from the anti-voucher group, People for the American Way Foundation: He found he agreed with the following sentiments expressed by PFAW President Carole Shields concerning a new approach to Internet safety:
"Decisions about children and the Internet should be made not through one_size_fits_all government mandates but by the people who care most about the children and know them best--and that’s their parents. Armed with real information, parents will be able to make choices that reflect their children’s needs and their family’s values.”
"Why Ms. Shields hasn't been able to apply the same philosophy to education is just one of those things that make you go hmmmmm . . . " commented Steiger.
