Chile Imposes Net Neutrality

Chile has adopted network neutrality laws, PriceWaterhouseCoopers reports. The law states ISPs “cannot ‘interfere with, discriminate against or modify’ content” except to protect a user’s privacy or when there’s an internet security threat. Additionally, ISPs must provide parental-control services and a written version of the contract to customers; guarantee virus protection and network security; and “allow access to all types of content, services, and applications without discrimination.”
